Why you wanted to be a part of FoU​

Having been involved with foster care for over seven years, the atrocities and cruelties that many children, of all ages, face in their daily lives, has become boldly apparent. The gaps that have manifested within the foster care system and within the processes of children leaving and entering care, are colossal. Fostering our Ummah offers opportunities, resources and connections to close this gap and make a genuine difference. I'm extremely grateful to be a part of an organisation with such a drive to make a difference.

Every child that has come into our care, has their own unique and unparalleled personalities that leave everlasting marks on our family. It is difficult to pinpoint just one unique experience about foster care because there are too many.

I like to bake desserts in my spare time and create my own recipes.

Where do you hope to see FoU in 2 year's time
In two years time I hope to see Fostering our Ummah as a well-known organisation that has the capabilities, facilities and resources that can help as many children as possible.
